Been thinking of some fond memories this evening! Our regular garden centre pastries and tea! Also some funny times spent at the pier with the 2p machines! However, one of the funniest was your reaction to Gramps eating my chewed chip! Missing you Gran x

Some of the fondest memories of my childhood were spent in your company. Dancing to heartbeat or move it round your front room, bullying you to play kerplunk at every given chance, but the biggest thing you gave to me was a sense of comfort and safety as a young boy that only a grandmother could. Because of you I learnt to play the piano and enjoy being creative. My biggest regret is not spending that same time with you as we both grew older and not being able to share the love you gave me with your great granddaughter. However, my biggest sense of comfort comes from that special unspoken bond of love that never needed to be spoken about. I always knew that even miles apart and months away from each other, that that special love was always there and always will be. You were and always will be one of my biggest influences. Love you an incredible amount Gran xx

There are so many tangled thoughts that will not leave my bewildered mind and in the middle of them all is my feeling of great loss. There were so many things I wish I had said and done, alas too late.
